In Summer 2021, Peter worked with Compost Community to develop a go-to-market strategy for local restaurants to subscribe to Compost Community’s pick-up services. Peter was interested in the Sustainability Fellows program because he hoped to build communication, business strategy, and leadership skills in the commercial sustainability sector.

Undergraduate students in the Spring 2021 COM 4562 Social Media Campaigns course had the opportunity to work with a real-life client promoting sustainability events in the Tallahassee community.

Led by Dr. Arienne Ferchaud, Assistant Professor in the College of Communication & Information, the students collaborated with ReThink Energy Florida to create social media marketing campaigns for the 2021 Energy Camp and Energy Ball.

Graduate students in the Spring 2021 COM 5565 Social Media Campaigns course developed social media strategies to help promote sustainability initiatives in Leon County.

Led by Dr. Katherine Dale, Assistant Professor in the College of Communication & Information, the students collaborated with the Leon County Office of Sustainability and other members of the County’s communications team to conduct research into best social media practices and create content for the Office’s social media pages.
